ET2 Lighting E22039-18 1LT Table Lamp Chrome Flash Contemporary desk lamps Review

This is a really great looking lamp. I was very disapppointed to find that there is no way to slide the glass shade into the slots to hold it in place. It should be a very simple procedure. But something blocks the shade from sliding into the slots. I think the little barriers that are meant to keep the shade from sliding off are in the wrong place. They are in the middle of the slots when they should be at the end. When I called Lamps Plus, the seller, they tried to be helpful but they didn't have one of the lamps there, so they couldn't check to see if all of them are the same way. They suggested I call ET2 who imports these lamps from China. ET2 was extremely uninterested in helping me and spoke to me as though I'm an idiot. (They told me to call Lamps Plus). So now I have to return the thing to Lamps Plus. I don't know (and there is no way to find out) whether the one I got is defective or whether they all are. No one has one in stock to check it for me (or they can't be bothered). I really love this lamp and I want one. I'm disgusted.
