This is a cool little light.It's brighter than a lot of small lights, but doesn't get hot.If being used for a reading light you'll go through a lot of batteries, though.Nice for a flashlight since it folds up, but can also be used free-standing by flipping the base out.The emergency red flashing light quit working fairly early on.
