This bulb made more TV interference than any other LED bulb I purchased.It interfered with one weak station when the bulb was at one end of the apartment and the TV and its antenna were at the other end of the apartment.I worry about whether it could interfere with TVs in other apartments.6 out of 12 LED bulbs I tried made at least a little TV interference.
That's too bad, since otherwise this was a better than average LED for the price.Many LED bulbs are sold with a statement that they replace a conventional bulb that makes more lumens of light.They say this bulb is a replacement for a 40 watt bulb.The [...] web site says the natural white version of this bulb makes 360 lumens of light and the warm white version makes 330 lumens.I got the natural white version since it makes more light.Some 40 watt bulbs in stores claim about 450 lumens while 2 kinds of 40 watt equivalent compact fluorescent bulbs I have say 520 and 550 lumens. When I tried it this bulb seemed to me to be slightly dimmer than a 40 watt bulb.The $26 current price in Amazons Home and Garden department is cheaper than some LED bulbs of this brightness.The bulb arrived in a few days by U S Mail.
Incidentally, as of June 2, 2010 Amazon has this same bulb, or at least the warm white version,or something that looks the same, in Tools and Home Improvement for $33.98 and in Home and Garden for $[...].
