Lovely lamp--better than photo even.Heavy pewter kind of metal with painted black slightly wavy indented stripes.Double shade is gorgeous--the inside shade is totally black (on the underside also), so even with a 100 watt bulb, you don't get tons of light.Fashion statement vs reading lamp for sure!
