The first time I plugged this lamp into the wall socket, it blew up the bulb and blew out the circuit. (Yes, I did use the correct type of bulb and wattage.) I had to hire an electrician to come out and replace the breaker -- a $160 repair bill! He also tested the lamp and confirmed that it contains faulty wiring. Stay away from this product. It's a potentially dangerous piece of junk. Sure, I'll get a refund from Amazon, but I'm still out of pocket for the repair!
