The lamp performed just fine for reading the fine print on medicine bottles and ingredients on food packages.It is 2 power so its perfect for reading. With the flourescent bulb its easy on the eyes too.
I adjusted it with no trouble.
Switch right on the base and a cover over the magnifying lens to keep dust out or to enable you to use as a plain lamp.
I like it and use it often. Keep it next to my coffee pot on the kitchen counter.
