I did not order this lamp from Amazon- I ordered directly from the Lamps Plus website.This lamp was broken when it arrived. It was actually packed broken- did not break in transit....
The round fulcrum was completely snapped off from the balance arm. There were also several scratches, the worst being on the shade itself where there were 5-6 inch-long, parallel scratches that went all the way through the 'brass finish' which is nothing more than cheap paint.
This is going back ASAP.
I cannot believe someone could seriosuly have packed and shipped this lamp looking the way it did when I opened the 'homemade' wrapping materials.
I have purchased very nice lamps from the Lamps Plus site- not sure what happened with the Dale Tiffany.. junk.
